Is it really over?

To my "kids":  Thanks for an amazing year together!  Each one of you has a special place in my heart.  We had a lot of fun and learned a lot from each other.  Yes, I even learned a lot from you!  I hope you always have fond memories of your 2nd grade year at Wasmer.  I know that all of you have so much potential and can achieve great things!  So have an amazing and fun summer.  Be safe!  And read a lot of great books! 
To my "kids'" parents:  You have amazing, talented, and compassionate children.  It was a true pleasure spending every day with them.  Thank you for all that you did this year to support your child's education.  You are raising some amazing little people!

Painted Lady Butterflies

Today was an exciting day in our classroom!  We have 4 more butterflies, for a total of 7!  Hopefully, we will have 3 more tomorrow.  If the weather is nice on Friday, we'll release them so they can lay eggs and create more butterflies.
